Strawberry print

Here is a very simple and easy DIY for vegetable/fruit painting, fun for kids and adults alike.

Make it in these easy steps:

You will need:
1.) 1 Strawberry
2.) 1 sheet of paper
3.) Pink or red food colouring
4.) A knife

First of all, cut a strawberry into two halves on a plate...

You won't even need both the halves, at least I didn't.

Now add the food colour on the plate (yes, you can use acrylic or water colour too… I just used it since it's edible and won't harm me if I decide to eat it after the job!)

Dip the strawberry half on the colour to coat the flat side with the food colour.

Stamp it on the sheet of paper, try to make sure all of the edges of the strawberry touches the paper. You may also add leaves on the top and seeds around the edges of the strawberries. I just kept it simple… Might do it in other ones :)

And there you go… VOILA!!!

By the way, try it a few times on a spare sheet to avoid making a mess and also getting your hand around it a couple of times. My first trial wasn't great either… There was too much colour and it was running down on the paper. So, keep a spare sheet or newspaper, give it a couple of gos and then stamp on a fresh sheet.

And there you have it, a simple yet artistic and pretty strawberry printed wall art:

And with the rest of the strawberries, what do you do with them??

Eat them of course… ;)

With Loads of Love,

JB
